Turning the Corner into Elderhood
I recently celebrated my 74th birthday. I had a fantastic celebration: a 5-day camping extravaganza along the Metolius River, Oregon with friends, then Lost Lake near Mt Hood with family. Stellar weather, amazing views, life is beyond good.
Now, as I dive into my 75th year on the planet, my gratitude meter just keeps dialing up with each day I’m alive. The larger culture may tell us that we’re old and in the way, but we can own aging and our role as elders who contribute to the greater good. Don’t listen to ageist assumptions. Onward!
