Homage

How do we measure a life? My friend Bill Muir died on Monday. Yes, he was the local grocer, banjo picker (we played in a string band together), magician, joke teller, and goofball, to name a few attributes. But the true measure of his 97 years will be his kindness and compassion, his warmth as a human being. He brimmed with love. In the end, is there any other metric that really matters?
